These welcome additions have been initiated by the Frederick Douglass Family Initiative led by Executive Director Erica Mock.
The Friends of Mount Hope congratulate the FDFI for their advocacy in promoting the lives of Anna Murray Douglass and her daughter Annie.
It is a great honor that Frederick Douglass selected Rochester and Mount Hope Cemetery as his final resting place, and now visitors will be aware of these loved ones who were so important in his life and now are interred with him for eternity.
