Marie Heerkens - mycologist

Marie Heerkens is a graduate from S.U.N.Y. College at Geneseo. Her passion for mycology led her to become the co-author, illustrator and photographer for the 2003 edition of The Field Guide to Mushrooms, a classic book among mushroom aficionados. She is conducting an ongoing mycological survey of Mount Hope Cemetery.

This power point is compliments of mushroom researcher Paul Brach, with photography by Fred Haynes.
We are grateful for their willingness to share this information with our many followers who are interested in mushrooms.
