On June 13th at 1 pm the B’rith Kodesh Plot, the first burial area for Jewish people who came to Rochester, will be rededicated after this area has been totally repaired by the Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery. This three year project consisted of repairing and rebuilding all the gravestones, planting a tree, erecting a fence to surround this hallowed place, and the discovery and adoption of a cradle grave.

This project was supported by grants from Ames Amzalak, The Farash Corporation, and funds from the Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery.

We welcome the community to this ceremony.
