Great things are happening at Mount Hope!
Sunday, July 18 marked the day that the first of the new wayfinding signs were installed.
Visitors all over the cemetery were excited.
This has been a pressing need at Mount Hope for years – it has been so difficult for people to find their way around our 196 acres.
In addition, the signs are very attractive – professional and worthy of a renowned historic cemetery listed on the National Register.
Our thanks go out to Jeff Simmons for his years of advocating for this signage. And of course to the City of Rochester, who purchased the signs and is installing them.
What a difference a day makes!
