We have a wide range of restoration activities at Mount Hope Cemetery. We welcome Scouts who would like to volunteer with their troop as well as scouts who would be willing to take on major projects leading to an Eagle Scout Award or a Green Award.
We give historic tours at no cost to Scout groups and their families. We also have a patch program called “Stories in Stone: Famous Women at Mount Hope Cemetery,” featuring many activities for both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Last week Boy Scout Aaron Gurell and his parents joined our tree team to attach tree tags to trees. He was a great asset and impressed the team with his hard work and enthusiasm.
