When we think of American women’s suffrage in the context of Mount Hope Cemetery, our thoughts turn immediately to Susan B. Anthony and her leadership in this arena. Yet there were other local women who supported this movement, who in 1872 attempted to register and to vote in a federal election. Join us to hear some of their stories.
