FOMH Welcome Chris McCoy and Edison Greenhouse Students Back to Mount Hope

gradient-div

The Friends are always eager to collaborate with Rochester City School District programs. We support the Studio 678 Photo and Writing Club, the Edison Greenhouse Program, and we provide tours for all school students and homeschoolers free of charge.

This summer teacher Chris McCoy and his students worked diligently to landscape part of Section G in preparation for the Holley event on September 30 th . Also in attendance each day was teaching assistant Jennifer Myers, always smiling and full of encouragement. A fun Friday cookout was the culmination of their stay at Mount Hope. Many teachers joined this celebration – Scott Moore, Kelby Ash, Lisa Deyo and grill master Dan Santiago. Administrator Megan Bonacci came by as well, giving us a chance to let the RCSD know how much we appreciated the efforts of Chris McCoy and his students.

This is such a wonderful program, and we look forward to welcoming these students back!
