August 15th was a wonderful summer day to come together to honor Richard Reisem, our founder and friend. We dedicated a lovely tri- colored beech tree to Richard, which will live on as a reminder of a person whose loyalty to the FOMH exceeded four decades.
Richard has been a mentor and a colleague. His research, his writings, his knowledge have enriched all of us – he had been a teacher and role model extraordinaire.
We can never really express our gratitude to Richard Reisem, but this tree stands as a small token of our affection and abiding respect for him and his commitment to the Friends.
