Today the Friends of Mount Hope welcomed Rochester Mayor Malik Evans to Mount Hope Cemetery. Patricia Corcoran, FOMH President, along with Board Trustees, showed off some of the restoration & repair work completed by FOMH. Tree director Tom Jones talked about the tree plantings and landscape work done by our all-volunteer organization. One highlight of this tour was the first look at the new Holocaust Memorial stone, to be set in place soon.
Joining Mayor Evans this morning were John Brach, Special Asst. to the Mayor, Brian Liberti, Director of Buildings and Parks and Jarod Terrell, new Cemetery Manager for Mount Hope Cemetery.
